A business strategy gives purpose to the organisation’s existence, providing direction for all supporting firm activities. By building up strategic thinking and planning competencies, key organisational leaders will be able to devise sustainable business strategies that leverage on their organisation’s core competencies. Strategic-thinking organisations tweak their strategies to deal with ambiguity and complexity to thrive in the ever-changing global market.

Research has shown that a strong relationship exists between strategic planning and firm performance. According to Michel Robert (Strategy pure and simple II, 1998), the companies that will prosper and out-pace their competitors during the next two decades are those that can out-think their competitors strategically, not out-muscle them operationally. Strategic thinking and planning will ultimately lead to sustainable business strategies that leverage on its core competencies and will serve as the guiding coalition for the whole organisation.

Aside from providing a proven structure that guides quality strategic thinking, we facilitate and unlock the strategic thinking competencies of the organisations we work with.
In our strategy framework, there are five steps: assess and organise, environmental assessment, strategy formulation, strategy planning and, implementation, evaluation and control. In assess and organise, we gain input from key stakeholders in the organisation and collaboratively form a holistic and comprehensive strategy In environmental assessment, we use PESTCC to scan the environment around the organisation and perform a SWOT analysis.   In strategy formulation, we facilitate customer analysis, situational analysis, self evaluation, competitor analysis and set a strategy for the organisation.   In strategy planning, we facilitate stakeholders in acquiring competencies for strategic thinking and strategic planning. We collaborate with them to craft a clear focus for the organisation for the first few years. Stakeholders are able to develop a strategic plan at this stage. In the final stage, stakeholders are able to allocate resources and establish a management team to oversee the execution. This could include establishing functional teams, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and benchmarking.   The process repeats in every new strategic planning cycle.   top strategy consulting firms, strategic business consulting, best strategy consulting firms, strategy development and thinking, strategy development thinking, organizational development and thinking, organizational development thinking, organizational design, organizational learning strategies, organizational design and structure, organizational realignment, organizational design and development, organizational design and culture, learning organization and organizational learning, strategic business planning organisational development and thinking, organisational development thinking, organisational design, organisational learning strategies, organisational design and structure, organisational realignment, organisational design and development, organisational design and culture, learning organisation and organisational learning
