Emily Chong - PACE Facilitation Faculty

 Emily is a dynamic, highly engaging, passionate and transformational leader with over 20 years of practical exposure in the Human Capital area. Her strong domain knowledge lies in Human Resource Strategy and Services, Talent Development, HR Consulting and Business Process Transformation, excellent for developing people and organisation transformation. Her valuable experiences in financial accounting, gives her an understanding of business dynamics.

As the former HR Director of NEC Asia Pacific, Emily managed, led and developed people in the APAC region. She was promoted to Director of the companies strategic project, managing transformation, creating greater business efficiency for the organisation.

During her years as Human Resource Manager at Jebsen & Jebsen Group of Companies, Emily managed a team, oversaw the overall HR operations as well as facilitated and led the implementation, certification and maintenance of ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and People Developer Standard. She was a key member in setting up shared services company within the group and led the committee as Management Representative for ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and People Developer Standard’s certification. 

As a certified trainer and assessor (ACTA - Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment), she aspires to add value to organisations through developing people. Her strong communication skills and warm personality coupled with good business knowledge and her background in Human Capital bestow her with the soft skills and competencies needed to be an excellent facilitator.

Being naturally curious and hungry to learn, Emily has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and has since continued adding professional qualifications to her portfolio.
