Going Global WITH PACE OD INTERNATIONAL

Thank you for following PACE ODI’s developments closely and journeying through 2016 with us! Throughout the year we’ve learnt much, and here are a couple of learning points that we would like to share with you:
BE OPEN IN MANAGING CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
Our partners come from different countries with various working styles and preferences, which are intermingled with their own cultural backgrounds. We had to constantly remind ourselves to be open and flexible in working and relating to them.
BE QUICK TO ADAPT TO CHANGES
We learnt to react quickly and be adaptive in dealing with requests and operational issues. Every new partner brought in different challenges and we had to be ready to face them head on.
The biggest takeaway for me personally is that it’s most important to have a responsive and supportive team in undertaking the work that we do. Whether it was facing operational or business development challenges, it was evident that maintaining strong teamwork throughout was a key factor in overcoming the said challenges.
On that note, I am signing off for 2016, and looking forward to what 2017 holds for the ODI team.
