Course Overview

Amidst these uncertain times, the emphasis on team level management has never been more apparent. This 2-day course aims to give aspiring and current team leaders and supervisors a better understanding of the importance of networking together with essential information on developing and managing teams. The course also includes learning transfer guides and templates that will help facilitate a transfer of learning into practical actions at their workplace.

Course Objective

Participate in networks
  • Establish working relationships with network members to improve knowledge sharing and networking opportunities
  • Pursue collaborative opportunities that will support mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Facilitate information exchange among network and team members to support organizational and team priorities
Develop team cohesiveness
  • Communicate expectations to ensure team is focused and clear about its roles and purpose
  • Establish team processes to encourage collaboration and shared responsibility for decisions and actions
  • Support diversity in the team and encourage cooperation and engagement
Resolve conflict within the team
  • Identify roles and responsibilities of team members to minimize sources of conflict that may affect team performance
  • Work with affected team members to resolve conflicts
  • Monitor and review agreed actions to resolve conflicts

Methodology

Group learning, Role Simulation, Group Dialogue, Group Sharing, Real Workplace Cases, Work-Related Discussions, Indoor Simulation Activities, Verbal and Written Engagement 

Certification

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Workforce Development Agency (WDA)

Course Details

  • Workshop Learning: 16 hours
  • Assessment: Will be conducted within the 2-day workshop

Investment for LPM-Level 3 program

  • Investment Cost (Below 40 years of age and excluding GST): $500.00 (Self Sponsored and Foreigner)
  • Net Investment cost (Below 40 years of age and excluding GST): $324.00* (Company Sponsored)
